Metronitlight rail crosses the city from North to south to the Main Bus hubs and train stations.

Rachbalit – Cable car that runs from Merkazit Hamifratz central bus station to the Technion and the University of Haifa, great ride, great view at public bus rates!

Haifa self guided walking tour:

Let say you start the tour from downtown Haifa, just next to the port and Hashmona train station, take the Methronit (line #1 / #2) to Merkazit Hamifratz station, there you will jump on the Rachbalit that will take you on a 20 min ride of  a spectacular tour with a great view over Mt. Carmel and the Bay of Haifa up to the University of Haifa, there you can get off and visit for free the Hecht museum.

Then take the ride back to Merkazit Hamifratz station and get on the Methronit (line #1 / #2) and stop at downtown and the Carmelit station.

From there you  will go underground and take a ride on the Carmelit that takes you to the top of Mt. Carmel and the Carmel center.

From there you will have a nice walk along the louis promenade and will have a great view over the port of Haifa and the Bahai’s Gardens.

There you can Join a free tour with a local tour guide that will explain to you about the Bahis faith.

You will walk down these magnificent gardens towards the Shrine of the Bab.

From there, if you still have energy, you can walk down the road to visit the German Colony.

There you can relax this long day and enjoy one of the nice restaurants you choose.
